- Lovedere Cattery is fully insured and all cats are insured for the duration of their stay (although pre-existing conditions are not covered). Whilst every care and attention is given to all cats throughout their stay, it should be noted that cats are boarded at the owners own risk.
- In case of a cat’s illness, Lovedere Cattery will endeavour to contact the cat’s usual vet. However Lovedere Cattery is authorised to call for veterinary assistance of their choice if necessary.
- All present medical conditions must be declared upon admission.
- Sharing cats can only be accepted from the same household.
- All fees are to be paid for upon collection, including veterinary / treatment fees if applicable.
- If cat(s) are not collected within 14 days of stated departure & no contact has been received, Lovedere Cattery has the right to re-home the cat(s).
- Rates are charged per day, and drop off and collection days are charged as full days – cash or cheque accepted only (please make cheques payable to M & A Webber), or bank transfer prior to/upon collection. No cards or other forms of contactless payment are currently accepted.
- All inoculations are to be completed & vaccination cards to be produced on arrival of each visit to the cattery. Up to date vet health record must be seen to ensure cat has current vaccinations against feline parvovirus (feline infectious enteritis FIE) and feline influenza; respiratory viruses and cat flu (feline herpesvirus and feline calicivirus). Vaccinations, including boosters, must have been completed 2 weeks before the cats arrival in order to ensure maximum protection. Homeopathic vaccination is not acceptable.
- Lovedere Cattery may separate cats from the same household if necessary (for example if fighting). We may also change a cat’s pen if necessary during its stay (for example if nervous of another cat next door, or if isolation is required).
- We request that cats arriving at the cattery are kept up to date with worm and flea treatment. We may treat for worms and fleas ourselves if a cat is found to have either during it’s stay.
